On February 6, 2004 canopy tourism was discussed in a workshop at the Tourism Forum International (TFI). The TFI was held by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) during the Reisepavillon, a convention for sustainable tourism.
