Two exciting upcoming projects have been confirmed. In Rwanda I will conduct a case study for my research in Nyungwe National Park. This study will take about four weeks and will begin in July. In Uganda I have been appointed technical advisor to conduct a feasibility study and provide technical specifications for the development of canopy walkways and/or ziplines in the Uganda national parks. For one week now I have been in Malaysia where I am going to conduct a study on the effects of canopy tourism. This study is conducted in cooperation with Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP) of Universiti Putra Malaya and Forest research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM). At this stage the study has the working title Canopy Tourism in tropical forests - an actor-oriented analysis within a political ecology framework .
